End-to-end UX for an industrial cloud platform

Turning complex documentation into usable information

Problem / Challenge

  • Technical documentation scattered across tools, formats, and versions
  • No centralized, role-based access to time-critical information
  • Unclear requirements and solution scope at project start

Approach

  • Conducted stakeholder interviews (service, installers, sales, production, PM)
  • Analyzed workflows, access paths, and document usage
  • Evaluated market CDS solutions and system compatibility
  • Created concepts, wireframes, and test setups with sample data
  • Designed a lightweight in-house alternative

Outcome / Impact

  • Validated stakeholder needs and core system requirements
  • Clear comparison of buy vs. build solutions
  • Management-ready feasibility study including costs and integrations
  • Solid decision basis for future CDS implementation

AR Quick Start Guide (University project)

Rethinking technical documentation through augmented reality

Problem / Challenge

  • Traditional technical documentation is static and hard to interpret
  • Installation and clearance requirements are often misunderstood

My Role

  • Concept, UX, AR Prototyping, App Development

Approach

  • Reimagined technical documentation as an interactive AR experience
  • Built an AR app using Unity and Vuforia
  • Virtual placement and fixation of the inverter in real space
  • Distance measurement to surrounding objects and walls
  • Display of a digital drilling template directly in AR
  • Preparation and optimization of 3D data for AR usage

Outcome

  • Demonstrated AR as a new form of technical documentation
  • Used as a pre-development and technology evaluation project
  • Later inspired a real development initiative

Pediatric Check-in (University project)

Reducing waiting times with user-centered design

Problem / Challenge

  • Long waiting times, staff shortages, and privacy issues in pediatric clinics

  • Stakeholder mapping and persona creation
  • Surveys and interviews to identify core pain points
