Hello! I am in China where I will be for the next 25 days. Twitter and facebook are both blocked on the internet here. It’s quite strange.

Flew through Beijing airport to get to Shanghai. Beijing’s airport has a really cool roof. Took pictures of that, and pictures of other things when I was arriving from Canada last night, but I haven’t uploaded them yet. So instead, here’s a GIF I just made of me carrying hotel room art with a pillow over my head.

I was reading up on the new London 2010 Olympic mascots and came across this line:

“The Cyclops design allows the mascots’ eyes to work as lenses, and digital cameras in the shape of the characters will be available.”

Like many, I’ve been skeptical of the 2012 logo ever since it was revealed. And those mascots are just quite strange.

But the camera thing? Fucking cool. I want to shoot photos with a cyclops olympic mascot so bad.

Finally finished a series I’ve been working on for a while called Canada’s Gold, featuring photos from probably the greatest day in Canada’s sporting history. The photos are published in the same chronological order that they were taken.
